Documentary
The film follows Nahjah Wyatte’s journey to the 2026 CARIFTA Games.
After a remarkable 2025 campaign ended in heartbreaking defeat, Nahjah returns determined to build on that experience and make his mark in 2026.
Competing against older, more physically developed athletes, he is confronted with the demanding realities of the 800m and the physicality required to compete at that level. In the final, that reality becomes especially clear when contact with another runner forces him off the track, disrupting his race and contributing to a finish near the bottom of the standings.
His journey ultimately becomes about more than the result. It is an honest look at growth, resilience, and learning to navigate adversity at a higher level of competition.

Featuring Dwight and Claudine Williams, Donovan Smith, and Dr. Diego Ramos, the film explores the considerations, logistics, and realities surrounding vasectomies. We examine how the procedure works, why it is an effective form of contraception, and why it can be a meaningful option for couples.
The conversation also considers the shared responsibility of family planning, including the potential benefit of reducing a female partner’s long-term reliance on hormonal birth control.

This documentary is more than just a story - it's a celebration of creativity and culture. Above all, this film honors the legacy and cultural significance of booth holding in St. Maarten—an art form rooted in history, community, and Caribbean pride.
Thank you to the passionate booth holders and (past and present) carnival organizers, who opened their hearts to share their stories, and to the talented creatives who brought this project to life in record time.
